Randy Shaffer Joins Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) is pleased to announce that Randy Shaffer has been appointed as Divisional Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Shaffer is responsible for the overall strategic direction of sales, retention and membership growth, and performance for BCBSNM’s Sales Division. He will be responsible for all commercial lines of business. Prior to joining BCBSNM, Mr. Shaffer served as a Regional Sales Director, individual and small group, for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas.

Mr. Shaffer holds a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A & M University – Corpus Christi. As a Regional Sales Director, he was responsible for implementing corporate strategy for future growth for BCBSTX. He has extensive experience in sales and marketing, new sales, territory development, and account management.
