Health Care Service Corporation, which operates the Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in New Mexico, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Texas, recently initiated a venture to acquire MEDecision, Inc., one of the country's leading providers of health information technology. This will support our vision of providing members with access to health care that maximizes quality and minimizes cost. The MEDecision acquisition will benefit our clients and members by providing:
