Does your child need health insurance? Uninsured children may qualify for Premium Assistance for Kids (PAK). The New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) designed PAK to assist eligible individuals with paying for comprehensive commercial health insurance. Currently the State pays up to 50 percent of the monthly premium for children who qualify.
Please note: Effective January 1, 2010, the 50 percent monthly premium portion paid by the State with be reduced to 25 percent.

You pay low monthly premium payments and affordable copayments for doctor visits and prescriptions.
