Presented by Garza Family McDonald’s in Collaboration with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) and Walgreens

WHAT:
The Community COVID-19 Vaccination Health Fair & Resources Event will offer no-cost COVID-19 vaccines* (no appointment necessary). Children and teens ages 12-17 will need a parent or guardian present. The Pfizer vaccine will be given (vaccines administered by Walgreens). Children 12+ who receive a vaccine will also receive a card for a free McDonald’s All-American Meal item. Face masks are required during the vaccination process.

BCBSNM’s Care Van® program is working with New Mexico Lions Operation KidSight, Inc. to provide no-cost vision screenings. Blue Bear^SM will also make a special appearance!

Local education, employment and wellness resources will be available from American Cancer Society, BeWELLnm, Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Fe/Del Norte, Española YMCA Teen Center, Habitat For Humanity, HELP New Mexico, Inc., Consulate of Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico Workforce Connection, Northern New Mexico College, a veterans’ representative from the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, and United Way of Northern New Mexico.

The COVID-19 vaccine will be provided at no-cost and will be covered via insurance or government assistance. The COVID-19 vaccine will be subject to availability. State-, age- and health-related restrictions may apply. Participants with insurance should bring their medical card, pharmacy card and ID for billing insurance. 

*The second dose for all of those getting their first dose at this event will be at the same McDonald’s location on Saturday, Aug. 7 from noon until 4:00 p.m.
