At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico, we are dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our members and passionate about caring for our communities. All year long our employees engage in meaningful volunteer opportunities to bring our purpose to life across the state, and April was no exception. During National Volunteer Month, employees attended a nonprofit fair where they learned to get involved with local organizations, assembled over 400 hygiene kits for community members in need, cleaned a city park in Albuquerque’s South Valley and helped build a ramp for a Rio Rancho resident, allowing her to safely access her home.
