Medicaid Provider Disenrollments

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico would like to remind our Medicaid providers to ensure that their Enrollment Status with New Mexico Medicaid is up to date. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the termination from the New Mexico Medicaid program and denial of claims.

Providers can check their enrollment status on the New Mexico Medicaid Portal. Providers should review the Provider Type & Specialty Listing document under the Provider Enrollment section on the Provider Information page to determine what licensures and certifications are required. Providers must submit the required documentation every three years.

These documents can be uploaded directly to the Medicaid Portal.

Further Information

Providers can refer to the Provider Enrollment Workshop document for steps on how to verify their enrollment status. This document is also located on the Provider Information page on the Medicaid Portal under the Provider Enrollment section.

Please contact your BCBSNM Provider Network Representative if you have any questions or want to verify your enrollment status on the New Mexico Human Service Department’s provider file.

Thank you for your continued participation and care of our members.

A Note from the New Mexico Human Services Department Regarding Disenrollments

Certain flexibilities that were allowed during the COVID-19 public health emergency have ended, and providers may be required to submit documents, such as Licenses or Revalidation, to continue serving Medicaid members. If providers have a revalidation due date of 05/01/2021 or older, or a License due date 05/02/2024 or older, and haven’t submitted required documents, you will be disenrolled from Medicaid. Please submit the required documents by the end of June to avoid being disenrolled. Please contact the Consolidated Customer Call Center at 1-800-299-7304 if you need to check your reverification or license due date.

Providers can upload their documents to the web portal.

If providers are emailing documents, please send to NM.Providers@state.nm.us.

Providers can submit their TAD to the web portal.

For questions or concerns, please contact the Consolidated Customer Service Center at 1-800-299-7304.
