Providers credentialed with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico are required to recredential every three years. When you are due, BCBSNM will check with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare to obtain your recredentialing application. To receive reminders and ensure we are able to obtain your application, keep your information up to date with us and CAQH.
To update and attest to your information for CAQH
- Report changes to your information in your CAQH ProView account.
- CAQH will send you reminders to review and attest to your data’s accuracy.
To update and verify your information for BCBSNM
- Use the Availity® Essentials Provider Data Management feature or our Demographic Change Form to update your information when it changes. Also verify your directory information every 90 days.

Authorize BCBSNM within CAQH: You may authorize BCBSNM to obtain your recredentialing information within CAQH or select “global authorization.” This allows us to complete the recredentialing process without you needing to take additional steps.
